About AD Colour
AD Colour based in Shepperton, Surrey has been in the screen, textile and digital equipment, materials and supplies business for 10 years and with over 300 hundred regular customers, their reputation in the trade is based upon sourcing ‘best in class’ products and providing customers with excellent technical advice.
AD Colour’s MD Tony Perrett says “With our experience of what is needed when printers are faced with tight deadlines and spiralling costs, we go the extra mile to understand industry trends and ensure we deliver the latest and best products”.
“A good example is our new phthalate free white inks like fast flashing Colorado and low bleed Chamonix. Also, with the industry opting to use discharge whites and base, we have teamed up with AMEX from Italy to offer their market leading discharge inks which complement the new range of Plastisol white to give a softer feel and brighter print.”
“We are a people based business and we have built a team of expert technicians and consultants to advise customers of the latest techniques and products. With the appointment last year of Gary Pooley, who’s background is in screen printing, working with Sun Chemical, Wiflex and Rutland-Union, AD Colour has the technical back up that’s so important when customers are faced with new and varied problems.”
For example, Stewart McCarthy of Cool 69 says: “The AD Colour team have supported me when I required important environmental information along with the H&S documents and their use of approved ISO mesh, adhesives etc has given me total confidence in their products”.
“With our Investment in Print program we are going back to the grass roots with the Tertiary and Higher Education sectors offering a dedicated website with real time problem solving via instant chat, liaising with the course tutors and technicians to evolve relevant solutions as well as advising on new products, trends and health and safety going forward. This enables colleges, universities and students to be equipped with the latest products and techniques so that at the end of their course, they are ready and up to date technically with the latest trends.”
AD Colour is currently moving to larger premises primarily to expand their in-house colour matching and screen stretching departments, which when combined with their ISO approved mesh from Saati in Italy, inks and chemicals from Macdermide Autotype, full support to the customer for inkjet positive films and printers, distribution for Fuji Sericol and Sun Chemical, they are well suited to fast turnaround times that are unrivalled in the UK.
